PassMuster: interview rehearsal for seafarers
Flag P, the Blue Peter: all persons report on board, the vessel is about to sail.

Rehearse your crew interview.

PassMuster runs a practice interview in English, the way a superintendent does it: real questions for your rank and your vessel, follow-ups when an answer is thin, no hints along the way.

Open now for the engine room, from cadet to Chief Engineer. Deck ranks are coming. Answer by voice or by typing, no sign-up.

Try it now: two questions free

Fill in three fields and the interviewer starts. After the second question you can buy a rehearsal and go on with the same interview.

Two free tries a day. A microphone helps, typing works too.

How a rehearsal works

  1. Tell us about your service and the vacancy. Rank, vessel types, main engine, certificates. Paste your CV and the job advert and the form fills itself.
  2. Answer the interviewer. About ten questions across motivation, experience, regulations, safety, technical knowledge and leadership, each with follow-ups where your answer leaves gaps.
  3. Learn where you stand. Every answer is checked against what a strong candidate must say and the mistakes that sink an answer.
